Trade Canada US - Benefits of a North American Union

Each country retains their 

Sovereignty, current form of Government and Passports. A North American Union governing body would be established to set policy, manage any disputes and govern the Union.

A North American Union could replace the current USMCA Agreement, which is due to be reviewed in 2026.   A much more streamlined and   efficient framework could be established.

The European Union took effect on Nov. 1 1993 , and has provided benefits to its members  for 31 years. The same benefits could be realized for businesses and citizens for anyone who applied for a North American Union "Visa"

Like the European Union, the NA Union  budget would help fund activities that create a stable and secure environment for people to live, travel, and do business in NA.   A common currency (USd) would eliminate the risk of currency fluctuation and exchange costs.

The US and Canada are both very rich culturally.  In many ways we are very similar, together we would be stronger.

The US and Canada have well educated, innovative and driven workforces.  Both countries have an abundance and diverse amount of  natural resources.  Together, these could be leveraged in the world market place.
